- What is DermaAI?
- DermaAI is simple software made only for skin clinics. You talk to your patient, and it writes the prescription for you — on your clinic's letterhead, with the medicines you use and your prices. It also keeps your records, billing and follow-ups in one place.
- How does the AI prescription writer work?
- You just talk to your patient the way you normally do — including in Hinglish. DermaAI writes the prescription using the brand names you said, with the generic salt name in brackets (as the rules need). You check it, then hand the patient a printed prescription in about 30 seconds, on your own letterhead.
- Does it understand Hindi and Hinglish?
- Yes. It understands natural Hinglish, so you don't have to change how you speak with patients.
- Does it follow Indian medical rules?
- Yes. Every prescription shows the generic salt name next to the brand name, as the rules need, and DermaAI warns you if two medicines clash. The software is also built to follow India's data-privacy law (the DPDP Act, 2023).
- Where is my patient data kept, and is it safe?
- All patient data is kept on Google's Mumbai servers and never leaves India. It's encrypted when sent and when stored, and only you hold the key. Patient photo links stop working after 15 minutes, and there's a record of who opened every file.
- How much does DermaAI cost?
- Pricing is set for each clinic. You start with a free trial — no setup fee, and nothing to move over by hand — and you only pay once you've seen it work in your clinic. Contact us for pricing.
- How do I start, and how long until it's working?
- Start with a free trial: your doctors use it on real patients for a few weeks before you pay anything. Most clinics are ready in days, not weeks — with no setup fee and no need to move your old records to begin.
- What else does DermaAI do beyond prescriptions?
- Beyond writing prescriptions, DermaAI handles appointments, billing and treatment quotes on your letterhead, patient self check-in on a tablet, AI training for your staff, VIP mode for patients who need complete privacy, and catching every enquiry while keeping quality high. Your own private server is available on request.
- Do I have to move my old records over to start?
- No — and when you're ready, we move them for you. You can run the free trial without moving anything over, so there's nothing to set up before your doctors start using it. And if you're on Practo or Cliniceo, we import your existing records for free when you move to the full plan.
